Italian billet prices rise as market strengthens
Italian domestic billet prices are increasing by €20/tonne ($22/t) month-on-month in line with rising scrap prices, market participants tell Kallanish.
Local material was sold at €345/t delivered in October. It is now at €360/t delivered on average for small tonnages. After a very slow October, November is proving to be a more positive month for both domestic sales and exports of semis.
