Italian crude steel output falls again in January

Crude steel production by Italian mills fell again in January, says local steelmakers' association Federacciai. Steel output fell by -4.9% year-on-year last month to 1.8 million tonnes. Flat products output, however, increased by 2.8% to 873,000t while longs production ticked up 0.5% to 886,000t.
