Italian flats, longs output falls in April
Italian flat products output decreased year-on-year in April, according to data released by local steelmakers' association Federacciai, monitored by Kallanish. Flats output growth was negative throughout almost all of 2018.
In April, flats output decreased year-on-year by -0.6% to 926,000 tonnes. Over the first four months of the year output ticked up by 0.8% compared to the same period in 2018, reaching 3.8 million tonnes.
