Italian flat products' output slumps in April
Italian flat products’ output collapsed year-on-year in April after tumbling in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, says local steelmakers' association Federacciai. Long products’ output meanwhile also slumped last month.
April flats’ output declined year-on-year by -38.3% to 621,000 tonnes. Over the first four months of the year output fell by -19.5% compared to the same period in 2019, reaching 3.2 million tonnes.
