Italian flats output tumbles again
Italian flat products output tumbled year-on-year in August, according to data released by local steelmakers' association Federacciai, monitored by Kallanish.
August flats output decreased year-on-year by -31% to 451,000 tonnes. Over the first eight months of the year output fell by -1.7% compared to the same period in 2018, however, reaching 7.2 million tonnes.
Italian longs output also decreased in August, by -0.7% y-o-y to 446,000t.…
