Italian HRC price drop persists
The Italian coil market lull has continued this week, with sources concurring “there is no market”. Current transactions are for small tonnages, and service centres have noticed a significant slowdown in demand from their customers. A similar situation is reported in other European markets where hot rolled coil prices are reported to be on a downward trajectory.
