Italian steel output continues to decline

Crude steel production from Italian mills fell again in July. Although there had been a brief rebound in May, total output had also fallen over January-June, according to local steelmakers' association Federacciai. In July crude steel production decreased by -8% year-on-year to 8 million tonnes. Over the first seven months crude steel output also declined, by -2.8% y-o-y to 14.5mt, the association confirms.
