Italian output resumes downtrend

Crude steel production by Italian mills decreased in June. This followed a brief rebound in May after output fell in January-April, according to local steelmakers' association Federacciai. Last month crude steel production decreased by -2.5% year-on-year to 2 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
