Italian pig iron demand is said to be strong and purchases are being implemented mostly from the CIS region, Kallanish hears.
Transactions are now in the range of $500-510/tonne cfr Italy from those Russian producers allowed to sell in Europe and about $520/t cfr for Ukrainian material.
