Italian scrap prices are beginning to decline amid the international pricing downtrend linked to slower Turkish scrap purchases.
Some mills in Italy are communicating €10-20/tonne ($10.7-20.5) declines for new contracts compared to the beginning of the month, with delivery in early or mid-April.
