Italian steel output falls again
The output of crude steel from Italian mills fell again in April following declines in January, February and March according to local steelmakers' association Federacciai.
Last month crude steel production fell by -5.8% year-on-year to 1.9 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. In the first four months of 2019 crude steel output also declined, by -2.9% y-o-y to 8.2mt, the association confirms.
