Itochu supports CSN decarbonisation
Brazil’s Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) and Itochu Corporation have signed an agreement for the decarbonisation and digital transformation of the Casa de Pedra mining operations, Kallanish learns from the Japanese company.
The collaboration, which aims to improve operational efficiency at the site, in which Itochu owns a stake, also includes further improvements in CSN`s steelmaking process.
