Izhstal ramps up production with new straightening line
Miner and steelmaker Mechel's stainless steel arm, Izhstal, has put into operation a straightening line for hot-rolled steel with a diameter of up to 180mm, the company says.
This will ensure the required surface quality of large-diameter wheels supplied to the automotive and mechanical engineering industries, and foreign customers, Kallanish notes.
