JFE supplies first green steel to construction industry
Japanese steelmaker JFE Steel will supply "JGreeX" low-emission steel to the real estate projects of Sumitomo Corporation and Kumagai Gumi.
This is the first time the two developers are using green steel in their property projects, and it is also the first time JFE Steel is supplying "JGreeX" to the real estate and construction industry, Kallanish learns. The project is expected to start in December and be completed in March 2025.
