Jigang commissions steel sections line
Jinan Iron & Steel (Jigang), a subsidiary of Shandong Iron & Steel Group (Shangang), commissioned a new production line at its cold-welded sections project in late September, Kallanish notes.
The production line can produce sections including angle steel, U steel and rectangular pipe in diameters of 50-300mm. The capacity of the line is anticipated to reach 30,000 tonnes/year. It took seven months to complete the installation work.
