Jigang Fugang announces EAF construction plan
Jilin Province-based Fugang, affiliate of China’s Jigang Group, has announced a construction plan for its new electric arc furnaces, Kallanish learns from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jilin.
The company intends to add a 50-tonne and 100t EAF, with 360,000 tonnes/year and 750,000 t/y of steel capacity respectively. The smaller EAF will be used for the production of alloy steel only.
