Jigang fully halts production for relocation
On 29 June eastern China’s Jinan Iron & Steel (Jigang), a subsidiary of Shandong Iron & Steel Group (Shangang), fully stopped iron and crude steel production in preparation for its relocation. It had previously started the relocation of one 4,300mm steel plate rolling line and one expanded 600,000 tonnes/year hot rolling mill.
