Jindal SAW agrees to operate ductile iron pipemaker
Jindal SAW has agreed to operate, maintain and manage the manufacturing facilities of Sathavahana Ispat (SIL) for a period of three years, which may be extended for a maximum period of ten years.
The agreement will see Jindal SAW produce and sell Sathavahana’s products, namely ductile iron (DI) pipe, pig iron and coke, under its brand name. The completion of the deal is subject to statutory and other approvals.
