Jindal SAW grows pipe, pellet output
Jindal SAW’s pipe output rose 39% on-year to 264,000 tonnes in the first fiscal quarter through June (FQ1). The company’s iron ore pellet production meanwhile rose 68% to 361,300t.
Submerged arc welding (SAW) pipe output rose 13% on-year to 101,000t in FQ1 against 89,000t last year. Ductile iron pipe and seamless pipe output was 114,000t and 49,000t respectively, Kallanish notes.
