Jindal Shadeed develops new rebar, eyes skyscrapers enquiries
Oman's largest integrated mill Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel LLC (JSIS) is prepared to re-roll 50mm diameter rebar to expand its product range.
JSIS is developing the new product, mainly used in the foundation of skyscrapers, Kallanish notes.
"The company is open to supply to any market. This is mainly used in foundations for high-rise buildings around the world," says a source close to the mill.
