Jindal Stainless supplies India’s first underwater metro
Indian stainless steelmaker Jindal Stainless (JSL) supplied 75 tonnes of premium grade stainless steel for the country’s first underwater metro line located in Kolkata, Kallanish notes.
According to the company’s exchange filing, the company supplied premium austenitic stainless steel SS 301LN grade of varying tempers to produce different components of the Kolkata Metro.
