Jinnan Steel begins iron and steelmaking project construction
China’s Jinnan Iron & Steel based in Shanxi province began construction of its 3.4 million tonnes /year capacity replacement steelmaking project on 17 May. The steelmaker plans to commission all the facilities within 14 months, Kallanish notes.
