JSW pursues municipal bonds to fund Ohio upgrade
JSW Steel USA Ohio proposes the issuance of municipal bonds to fund a planned upgrade to the sheet mill, Kallanish discovers within a regulatory filing by its India-based parent company.
The Mingo Junction, Ohio, division intends to leverage 30-year muni bonds totalling $145 million, mainly to fund the addition of a vacuum tank degasser, JSW Steel explains in a disclosure to the National Stock Exchange of India.
