Kardemir decreases billet by $15, sales improve
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for billet on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
150mm square billet was decreased by $15/tonne to $565/t ex-works, excluding 18% VAT. This is compared to the previous list issued on 15 February.
Failing to reach its targeted sales volume, Kardemir kept sales open until the end of the day. Sales – at 45,000 tonnes – nevertheless still recorded an improvement on the previous sales volume …
