Kardemir shifts volumes after hiking billet $21
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for billet at higher prices on Thursday. The Turkish steelmaker closed sales later in the day after shifting 35,000 tonnes, market participants inform Kallanish.
150mm square billet was increased by $21/tonne to $580-590/t ex-works, excluding 20% VAT, from the previous list issued on 6 December.
