Kardemir opens billet, rod sales, struggles to sell
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for billet and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
150mm square billet price was increased by $8/tonne from the previous list issued on 4 January to $635-640/t.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have decreased by $20/t from the high end of the range to $710-750/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 4 January.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
