Kardemir posts profit decline despite revenue growth
Kardemir increased revenue by 38.8% on-year in January-September to TRY 27.3 billion ($959.6 million). Despite this improvement, however, the Turkish steelmaker’s net profit was slashed to TRY 1.25 billion compared to a profit of TRY 2.39 billion a year earlier.
Ebitda increased 16.9% to TRY 4.51 billion, Kallanish notes.
