Kardemir raises rebar, cuts billet prices
Turkey's Kardemir has opened its domestic rebar sales at higher prices, while reducing billet prices, Kallanish learns from the integrated steelmaker's price list update.
The company has raised its rebar prices to TRY 2,335/tonne ($569/t) for 12-32mm rebar and TRY 2,352/t for 12-18mm rebar. This is up by TRY 20/t from the previous, 7 April price list.
Wire rod prices have also been raised, by TRY 15/t to TRY 2,565-2,625/t.
