Kardemir promptly sells 30,000t of higher-priced rebar
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm was each increased by TRY 970/tonne ($33.8/t) to TRY 16,795/t and TRY 16,885/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 1 November.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have been increased by $10/t to $595-635/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 8 November.
