Kardemir sells 40,000t rebar despite weak Turkish market
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm was each increased by TRY 85/tonne ($31.2/t) to TRY 15,000/t and TRY 15,090/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 8 June.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
