Kazakhstan reduces October steel production sequentially, rises on-year

Kazakhstan’s steelmakers decreased crude steel production in October compared to the previous month, according to data from the national economy ministry’s statistical committee. Output amounted to 307,433 tonnes, down 7.1% on-month, but was up by 28.6% on-year, Kallanish notes. This was also down from August, when output reached 328,563t.
