ArcelorMittal Temirtau in Kazakhstan renamed Qarmet
ArcelorMittal's Kazakhstan-based Temirtau steelworks, which was sold last week to Qazaqstan Investment Corporation (QIC), a state-controlled direct investment fund, has been renamed to Qarmet, says the press service of the administration of the Karaganda region.
The head of the region, Ermaganbet Bulekpayev, introduced the new investor to the enterprise team: Qazaqstan Steel Group company and its founder Andrey Lavrentiev.
