Kazakhstan’s September steel output slightly rebounds
Kazakhstan’s steelmakers increased crude steel production in September, according to data from the national economy ministry’s statistical committee.
Output amounted to 330,783 tonnes, up by 0.2% on-year, Kallanish notes. This was also up from August, when output reached 328,563t.
In January-September, Kazakhstan’s steel production increased by 11.2% on-year to 2.94 million tonnes.
