Klesch Group finalises Leali Steel acquisition
Swiss-based Klesch Group has completed the acquisition of the Leali Steel operation in Borgo Valsugana, Italy, Kallanish learns from Leali Steel.
With the acquisition, Klesch founder and chairman Gary Klesch gains control of all three Leali operations based in Northern Italy. The Swiss group also owns a 300,000 tonnes/year rolling mill for special bar quality, and a cold-finishing centre (LAF) for bar for internal and third-party use in Odolo in Brescia.
