Kobe Steel, MOL team up for carbon offsets
Japan’s Kobe Steel and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) on Thursday jointly announced that they had offset carbon dioxide emissions from fuel used in ocean transport of iron ore from Australia to Japan, Kallanish learns.
As disclosed, this was done through the use of voluntary carbon credits generated from the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve project in Indonesia.
