Korean steelmakers receive scrap fixing fines
Seven South Korean steelmakers have been fined by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) for colluding to fix scrap prices. The complaint refers to domestic scrap supply, which the mills need to top up through imports, Kallanish notes.
