Kuwait market awaits rebar quote from benchmark mill
Kuwait's subdued rebar market is awaiting benchmark mill Unisteel's April-delivery rebar price announcement.
Activity is low due to Ramadan, and is unlikely to pick up until at least May. Rebar traders expect the benchmark mill to roll over from March at KD 194/tonne ($631) loaded on truck against cash for April rolling, notes Kallanish.
Delivered rebar retail quotes are at KD 192-193/t for domestic material and KD 187-189/t for imported Saudi and Omani …
