Kuwait rebar demand dips, import deals require discount
Demand for rebar in Kuwait has fallen significantly, with traders of all categories (first and second tier) holding large stocks.
Local mills have left their April delivery rebar prices unchanged from March at KD 194/tonne ($630), with a discount of KD 1-3/t depending on volume for the benchmark mill, and at KD 191/t for the secondary mill, both loaded on truck against cash or LC on sight, notes Kallanish.
