Kuwait retail rebar prices increase, Oman seen following
This week in Kuwait, rebar prices in the retail segment have increased by KD 8-11/tonne ($26-36), Kallanish learns.
For projects, local rebar is offered at KD 200-201/t, whereas Emirates-origin rebar is at KD 191/t, both delivered on a cash basis.
"Due to the effective rebar price increase by $25/t in the United Arab Emirates, we are observing price improvement in the Kuwait retail market,” says a buy-side source.
