Kyoei appoints Vietnam-Italy Steel executives
Vietnam-Italy Steel (VIS), which recently saw Japan’s Kyoei Steel take a majority stake, has appointed a new chairman and a new general director, both nominated by Kyoei. The move marks the integration of the plant into Kyoei’s supply chain in the country, Kallanish notes.
Toshimasa Zako becomes chairman of the board until 2020, while Yoichi Hoshino becomes general director. Previous general director Nguyen Thanh Ha will be deputy general director.
