Kyrgyzstan launches long products mill
Kyrgyzstan has put into operation the first stage of a rebar and long products mill, says the country’s president’s press service.
Its capacity will be more than 200,000 tonnes/year, Kallanish notes. Total investment amounts to $50 million. The Metal-Ken plant, part of the Asia Steel joint venture, is located in the Chui region.
