LatAm August crude steel production continues growing: Alacero
Latin America saw crude steel production rise for a second consecutive month in August. Output, however, remained weaker year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to steelmakers’ association Alacero, regional crude steel production reached 4.93 million tonnes in August, up 173,900t on July’s volume of 4.75mt but down 7.8% on-year.
