LatAm crude steel production grows sequentially in April

South American crude steel production increased month-on-month in April, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Meanwhile, Mexico saw its output fall. South American crude steel output totalled 3.56 million tonnes in April, up 137,000t m-o-m. It was howevef down 2.2% compared to 3.64mt in the same period in 2022.
