LatAm primary iron production decelerates in October
Latin America saw primary iron production fall month-on-month in October 2021. Output, however, remained higher on-year, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association Alacero.
According to figures, regional primary iron production was 3.41 million tonnes in the month, 5.6% less over September but 6.2% higher year-on-year.
