Latin American crude steel output drops in April

South American and Mexican crude steel production decreased month-on-month in April, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. South American output totalled 3.59 million tonnes in April, down 3.7% m-o-m. This was also 4.8% less compared to the volume of 3.77mt in the same period in 2021.
