Latin American finished steel output decelerates in October
Latin American finished steel production fell sequentially in October. Output, however, was higher on-year, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association Alacero’s latest report.
Finished steel output reached 4.63 million tonnes in October, 1.6% less over September but 3.8% higher on-year. Long steel represented 2.34mt, while flat steel amounted to 2.14mt and seamless tube to 74,900t.
