Liberty gets protection from creditors in Belgium

Liberty Steel confirms it has been granted a judicial reorganisation procedure (PRJ) in Belgium to protect its local units from creditors, while ensuring the best possible ongoing relationships with them. The procedure was formally requested by the Liberty Liege-Dudelange company in late April. The PRJ now only applies to the Belgian plants of Flemale and Tilleur.
