Liberty Speciality generally lowers November surcharges
Liberty Speciality Steels has lowered its alloy surcharges for the vast majority of its listed products month-on-month for November 2019, Kallanish notes. The recent fallaway in nickel prices in the general market means that surcharges for high nickel content alloys fall for the first time in four months. The UK company’s scrap surcharge for November meanwhile sees the heaviest on-month fall this year.
