Liberty Speciality lowers alloy/scrap surcharges for May
Liberty Speciality Steels has lowered its alloy surcharges across the board month-on-month for May 2019, following two months dominated by increases, Kallanish notes. The vast majority of surcharges have seen only nominal reduction, some by just a few pennies. Surcharges for those alloys with higher vanadium content have again fallen much more significantly. The UK company’s scrap surcharge meanwhile has also slipped back for May.
