Liberty Speciality majorly raises alloy surcharges for March
Liberty Speciality Steels has raised the majority of its alloy surcharges month-on-month for March 2019, In a reversal of the movements in February, Kallanish notes. Surcharges for alloys with higher nickel content have generally risen, some quite significantly, while those with higher vanadium content have again slipped. The UK company’s scrap surcharge meanwhile has also fallen for the second month in a row.
